About Us

Ginger's grandfather and Jack worked together at the State Highway Department. In 1971, Ginger's parents honeymooned at the resort and fell in love with the property and the rest was history. The family returned every summer to help run the operations. Ginger moved back to Washington and called the resort only to find out . . . not only did Jack's family still own it, they wanted to sell it! As if by fate, Ginger and Anna were able to by Jack's Resort a year and a half later. They have been pouring their hearts into keeping the original magic of Jack's Resort alive, while expanding and creating a legacy all their own.

Unfortunately, Jack's Resort suffered devastating losses following massive wildfires in September 2020. Already feeling the strain of the pandemic, Ginger and Anna were faced with the loss of their restaurant, a cabin, and the well/pump house. Miraculously, their home was spared. Faced with lost power and drawn-out insurance claims, the women rolled up their sleeves and began to rebuild. Perhaps the biggest impact was the loss of the restaurant that was so vital to the community. Ginger and Anna worked 2 years in a food truck while building a new restaurant. They credit the community, especially the tight-knit Jack's Resort community, family, and friends for helping those tough years.

As of Spring 2023, the new restaurant is open and a huge hit. The women plan to expand the resort to add more family-fun and will once again be hosting weddings, family reunions, and other larger events on-site. Ginger and Anna are proud of their hard-work, love, sweat, and tears that help Jack's Resort remains a favorite among generations of families to this day.

Ginger and Anna are active in the Conservation District and other local-supporting organizations. They especially enjoy offering their time cooking at the Senior Center in the winter. They receive Pick-Of-The-Week annually in the Everett Herald. They are huge Seattle Seahawks fans and also support the Seattle Mariners, Sounders, and the WNBA. Both ladies enjoy working, camping, fishing, boating, cooking, and volunteering.
